He can basically hide in plain sight within the dark prison but once he wants a group of people to notice him they do and you can usually tell pretty easily because they immediately run away, most of the time with a plethora of screams. He wears dark clothes with a little bit of green mixed in and a dark ski mask that only allows for his intensely green eyes to be seen.
He can walk up behind groups of people without them noticing him until he is inches away from their face reaching out and grabbing someone or jumping directly in front of a group and yelling scary phrases at them. When he was hired his boss informed him that he plays the role of the prison "Creeper", his job is to jump scare people when they don't expect anyone to be around, and for some odd reason, he is scarily good at it. Sam finds that he is practically made for this job. So for the whole summer, Sam's days are filled with terrorized screams, laughter between coworkers, and too many funny stories to count like that time a little kid threw up all over Bad when he scared him, everyone broke character and they had to shut down the whole room for the rest of the day because of the smell. I mean it's not surprising that most of his friends get hired, the smell of all those teenage boys in one room is practically enough to scare anyone but Sam is glad that all his friends can work at the same place and have fun messing with people in exchange for money. Somewhat surprisingly, after countless interviews and auditions, the group of teenagers end up landing jobs in different departments of the haunted prison. You may ask how did he get here? Well, you see Sam happens to be best friends with people who quite enjoy the adrenaline of scary clowns and screaming children and understandably Sam didn't want to be left out, besides it can't be that bad if you are the one doing the scaring and it sure is better than making burgers all day. Yet somehow out of all the places, he finds himself applying to work at Pandora's Vault The Haunted Prison the summer before his senior year.

In his humble opinion, it was quite silly to pay people to force your body into a fight or flight simulation when you can do it for free by talking to your crush or something less potentially life-threatening and gory.
